Activities

The law school has an active moot court society, a cultural society and sports teams for all major sports. Amity Law School hosts an annual Moot court competition and a debate competition at the national level, in which colleges from all over the country compete.

Mooting
 
Amity Law School has an active moot court society.
Students are encouraged to take part in moot court
competitions throughout the country and beyond,
to hone in their court-craft and pleading/researching
skills, on the path to becoming sucessful lawyers.
Since 2002 Amity Law School has been hosting a
National level moot court competition every year
in which students from reputed law schools participate.
 
ALS is currently ranked 5th in "Mootopia", the on-line
moot court ranking system on www.lawstudent.in

Debating and Declamation:
 
Amity Law School has an active Debating society that trains and recruits students to represent it at inter-college debate competitions throughout the country.
The Law School also hosts an annual National Debate competition,which commenced in 2007.
 
ACHIEVEMENTS:
 
Best Speaker in the Paper Presentation Competition organized by Lady Shri. Ram College, Delhi.
 
Best Team & 3 rd prize for the Best Speaker in the Annual Debate Competition organized by the Rukmini Devi Insitute of Advanced Studies, New Delhi.
 
Best Speaker & Best Team in the National Debate competition organized by G.H. Raisoni Law School, Nagpur.
 
Best Speaker and the Best Team Prize in the Inter Collegiate Debate Competition organized by the Institute of Information Technology & Management, New Delhi.

Cultural Activities
Cultural Activities are overseen by the Amity Law Cultural Society, formed in October 2007. The broad areas of cultural activities at the law school are: 1. Music 2. Dance and Choreography 3. Dramatics 4. Quiz 5. Debate and Declamation 6. Film doccumenting and showcasing 7. Literature

Pro-Bono
 
As a part of the practical training in legal education, the students are being deputed regularly to participate in the Lok Adalat programmes organized by the Delhi Legal Services Authority, Patiala House Court, New Delhi.
The Law School also has an active legal aid clinic that provides free legal services to those requiring it.
